A superb antique sterling silver double Albert chain with matching T-bar and dog clips, both hallmarked in Birmingham in 1881 by maker William Walter Cashmore. The chain features graduated curb links ranging from 8.65 mm down to 6.23 mm, giving it the satisfying visual taper prized by collectors. It measures 15.75 inches end to end with a further 3-inch drop leading to a fob hallmarked in Birmingham in 1891, finely engraved J W Ritson. The workmanship is classic late Victorian Birmingham silver, heavy and beautifully finished, with crisp links and a deep, even patina that speaks to age and quality.
