This is a beautifully preserved late Victorian sweetheart ring, built in rich 18 carat gold and centred on a heart packed with natural seed pearls. Each pearl is slightly different, giving the cluster that soft, old-world shimmer you only see in genuine nineteenth century work. A small ruby sits at the centre, adding a bright point of colour and drawing the eye into the heart. The scroll-detailed shoulders frame it perfectly and give the ring that unmistakable character of the 1890s. It’s a delicate, romantic design that has survived with remarkable crispness and still carries all the charm it was made with over a century ago.
