A vintage 9ct gold Gemini pendant from 1959, and one that Gemini collectors will spot immediately.
Castor and Pollux stand hand in hand within a circular frame, the Roman numeral II beneath their feet. The twins are raised and modelled rather than flat — almost a miniature repoussé scene set within an open surround that gives this considerably more presence than a standard zodiac charm. The detail is exceptional for the scale.
At 1.4cm in diameter it slides onto an Albert clip or into a charm stack without effort. Hallmarked Birmingham 1959. Sixty five years old and not a mark on it.
